Meet the Student Council

The Abraham Lincoln Student Council is made up of 7 students in the fifth and sixth grades.  These members were chosen to represent their school based on a long standing record of responsibility, good citizenship, and active participation in school activities.  The Abraham Lincoln Student Council tries to create activities that promote school spirit, learning, and community service.

Victoria White, President

Victoria White, President

Vickey White is in Sixth Grade.  She has gone to Abraham Lincoln since kindergarten.  She participates in Reading Olympics and the BT Sixth Grade Musical.  She loves to sing and has been in the talent show.  She is also an animal lover.  She loves all animals and wants to be a veterinarian when she grows up.

Curtis Clarhaut is a fun-loving Fifth Grader, who is proud to be Student Council Vice President.  His hobbies include dancing to hip-hop, reading, and hanging out with his friends.   He enjoys playing lacrosse with his brother, Coady, and teaching his sister, Cassie, to dance.  He is planning to play lacrosse this fall.   Curtis loves animals and has a dog, Sammy and a cat, Dixie.

Alayiah Awad is in Fifth Grade.  She is a quiet girl with a fantastic sense of humor.  Her favorite past time is reading.  She loves animals and crafts.  She also likes to spend time on the computer making websites.

Mercedes Batista is in the Fifth Grade.  She is 10 and a half years old.  She has a brother and a three year old cousin.  Her best friend is named Sonnie.   Her favorite color is purple and she is obsessed with candy.  She likes to go on field trips, taking pictures, riding her bike, and playing with her neighbors.  She is also very excited about being in the news and on a blog!

Lexi Cooper is in Fifth Grade.  She is eleven years old.  Her hobbies include swimming, cheerleading, hanging out with her friends.  Her best friends include Taylor, Mercedes, Sonnie, and Gina.  They have been friends since kindergarten.  Her favorite colors are pink, purple, and sky blue.  Along with Student Council, Lexi participates in Salsa Club and Reading Olympics.

Kelsie Fowler is also in Sixth Grade.  She thinks living in a healthy community is very important.

Daniel Tahaney and Allison Mazurek are advisors to the Student Council.  Daniel Tahaney is the Elementary Math Resource Teacher for Lincoln Elementary and Allison Mazurek is a fifth grade teacher.
